Rich And Buttery Sugar Cookies
|Butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs) (butter requires a little less flour)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Flour||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
Combine dry ingredients and sift or mix with a fork.
Add to creamed mixture.
Dough should be quite stiff but still a little bit sticky.
Refrigerate 2-3 hours.
Roll out a little at a time, keeping remaining dough in the refrigerator.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375Â° for 6-8 minutes or until cookie is barely brown on the edges.
