|Icing sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Plain flour||8 Ounce|
|Egg yolk||1 Pinch (Little Quantity Required)|
Cream the margarine and sugar.
Work in flour and just enough egg yolk to bind it.
Cut into rounds and cut a circle from the centre of half the rounds.
Put the complete rounds on to baking trays, place the rings firmly on top.
Fill the centre with mincemeat.
Bake for about 15 minutes at 375°F.€”Gas Mark 4.
Cool on the tin.
Dredge the outer ring with icing sugar.
