|Margarine||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Warm water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Blend flour and baking soda, then mix in oats.
2. Cream margarine and brown sugar thoroughly. Add water and mix well. Stir in dry ingredients.
3. Shape dough into small balls, arrange on cookie sheets, and flatten with a fork dipped in water to prevent sticking.
4. Bake at 375 F 6 to 8 minutes, or until golden brown.
