Chewy Chocolate-Oat Cookies

Ingredients
  Margarine/Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs), softened (About 2 Sticks)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Granulated sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Milk 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 2 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Quaker oats 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs) (Use Quick Or Old Fashioned, Uncooked)
  Semi sweet chocolate pieces 12 Ounce (1 Package, About 2 Cups)
  Chopped nuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Heat oven to 375°.
Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy.
Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
Add combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
Stir in oats, chocolate pieces and nuts; mix well.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 9 to 10 minutes for a chewy cookie or 12 to 13 minutes for a crisp cookie.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack.
Cool completely.
Store tightly covered.
