Ingredients

Sweet onion 2 Medium , thinly sliced
Zucchini 3 Medium , thinly sliced
Olive oil 4 Tablespoon (divided)
Ricotta 15 Ounce (can use non fat too)
Fillo dough 1 Pound (1 packet)
Egg 1 Medium
Fresh thyme 1 Tablespoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Cracked black pepper 1 Teaspoon
Black forest ham 1 Pound

Directions

GETTING READY

1.Preheat the oven to 425F.

MAKING

2.In a large pan sauté onion and zucchini with olive oil over medium or low flame until browned.

3.In a large bowl mix ricotta, egg ,thyme, salt and pepper

4.Layer tart pan with 2 sheets fillo, brush each layer with butter/olive oil mixture.

5.Layer 2 more sheets and brush with butter and repeat 2 times more

6.Now add half of the ricotta mixture.

7.Top it up with sliced ham.

8.Top with remaining half of the ricotta mix.

9.Layer this with 2 sheets on top, spread with butter and then Layer two more sheets and brush with butter.

10.Make little cuts on top for air vents.

11.Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

SERVING

12.Cut it into pieces and serve this with your favorite side dish, appetizer or even as an evening snack.
