Lancashire Hot Pot
|Mutton rib chops||3 Pound, cut into cubes (1 1/2 Kilogram)|
|Potatoes||3 Pound, cut into thin slices (1 1/2 Kilogram)|
|Onions||1 Pound, sliced (450 Gram)|
|Beef stock||250 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
Preheat the oven to 325°F 170°C).
Fill an earthenware dish with well-seasoned layers of meat, onion and potato in that order, finishing with a layer of potatoes neatly arranged in overlapping slices.
Pour in the stock.
Cover the dish and cook for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
