Ingredients
  Milk 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Grated orange rind 1 Teaspoon
  Cornstarch 5 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Chocolate sauce 2 Tablespoon (For Serving)
Directions

Scald 2 cups of the milk and orange rind (if used) in top part of double boiler.
Combine cornstarch, sugar, and salt.
Mix with remaining 1/2 cup milk to a smooth paste.
Gradually stir into scalded milk.
Cook, stirring constantly, over boiling water until smooth and thickened.
Cover pan and cook for 10 minutes longer, stirring frequently.
Add vanilla (if used) and pour into custard cups or molds.
Chill.
Unmold and serve with chocolate sauce.
Makes 4 to 5 servings.
