Continental Flair Frosting

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Heavy cream/Evaporated milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Unsweetened chocolate 4 Ounce (4 Squares Baker'S)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (At Room Temperature)
  Rum extract/Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine sugar and cream in saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat and simmer gently for 6 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add chocolate and stir until chocolate is melted.
Blend in butter and rum extract.
Chill until mixture begins to thicken; then beat until thick, creamy and of spreading consistency.
