Green Peas Continental
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), halved|
|Prepared mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Peas/2 cups frozen peas from a 1 1/2 pound bag||2 Pound, shelled to make 2 cups|
|Pinon nuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Melt butter or margarine with garlic in a medium-size saucepan; stir in the mustard, salt, water and fresh or frozen peas; cover.
2. Cook, stirring several times, 10 minutes or just until tender.
3. Remove garlic; spoon peas into serving dish; sprinkle nuts in a row down center.
