Cooked Giblets

Ingredients
  Gizzard 1 (From 3 1/4 Pound Broiler Fryer Chicken)
  Heart 1 (From 3 1/4 Pound Broiler Fryer Chicken)
  Chicken liver 1 (From 3 1/4 Pound Broiler Fryer Chicken)
  Chicken neck 1 (From 3 1/4 Pound Broiler Fryer Chicken)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Onion 1 Small, cut into fourths
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Peppercorns 2
  Whole cloves 2
  Bay leaf 1
Directions

1. Mix all ingredients in 1-quart casserole. Cover tightly and microwave on medium (50%) 10 minutes; stir. Cover and microwave until tender, 8 to 12 minutes longer. Refrigerate until giblets are cool enough to handle.
2. Remove giblets and neck from broth. Refrigerate neck for later use; coarsely chop giblets.
