Spicy Peach Compote

Ingredients
  Fresh peaches 3 Large
  Cornstarch 2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Pineapple orange juice concentrate 3 Ounce, thawed (1/2 Of 6 Ounce Can, 1/3 Cup)
  Grated orange peel 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon stick 4 Inch
  Whole cloves 5
Directions

Peel, halve, and pit peaches; sprinkle with ascorbic acid color keeper or lemon juice mixed with water to prevent darkening.
In saucepan mix cornstarch, sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Stir in concentrate, 2/3 cup water, peel, cinnamon, and cloves.
Cook and stir till thick and bubbly; cook and stir 2 minutes more.
Pour hot mixture over peaches; chill.
Remove spices before serving.
