Fruit Compote Supreme
|Canned peach slices||16 Ounce|
|Dried apricots||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated orange peel||1 Teaspoon|
|Orange juice||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Grated lemon peel||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Canned pitted dark sweet cherries||16 Ounce (Drained)|
Preheat oven to 350Â°.
In 10x6x2 inch baking dish combine undrained peach slices, dried apricots, brown sugar, grated orange peel, orange juice, grated lemon peel, and lemon juice.
Cover and bake compote at 350Â° for 45 minutes.
Gently stir in the dark sweet cherries.
Bake, covered, till cherries are heated through, about 15 minutes longer.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
