Dried Fruit Compote are delicious and easy to make. My husband loves these, so I serve them for the weekend dinners just so that enjoy it in peace. They are just too yummy. Try this Dried Fruit Compote and you will understand.
  Mixed dried fruit 10 Ounce
  Cinnamon stick 3 Inch
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Lemon slices 3
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cherry pie filling 21 Ounce

Mix dried fruit, cinnamon stick, sugar, lemon slices and water in saucepan.
Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 30 minutes.
Stir in cherry pie filling.
Serve warm or cold.
This fruit combo also makes a particularly nice accompaniment for ham or roast beef.
