Dried Fruit Compote
Raisins - 1 cup
Water - 3 cups
Sugar - 1/3 cup
Lemon juice - 3 tablespoons
Orange - 1, thinly sliced
1. In a casserole, add mixed dried fruits, water, raisins and allow to rest.
2. In a preheated oven, bake the contents at about 180 degrees centigrade for about 60 minutes.
3. Add sugar, lemon juice and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add orange slices to the mixture.
4. Allow to cool.
5. Serve warm or cool, in dessert bowls.
