Mixed Fruit Compote

Ingredients
  Dried apricots 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Dried prunes 1 Pound
  Canned dark cherries 1 Pound, pitted (1 Can. With Liquid)
  Canned pineapple chunks 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (With Liquid)
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1. In a 3 quart slow-cooker or crock pot, combine all the fruits, canning liquid and water.
2. Cover the pot tightly with its lid.
3. Cook the fruits on HIGH for about 4 hours or on LOW for almost 7 hours until the fruits are soft and mushy.

SERVING
4. Serve the compote hot or cold for breakfast, as a dessert or as an accompaniment to roasts.
