Fruit Compote

Ingredients
  Canned peach halves 6 , syrup retained
  Canned pear halves 6 , syrup retained
  Canned apricot halves 8 Ounce, syrup retained
  Prunes 14 Ounce (1 Jar, Ready To Serve)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Grated lemon rind 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon stick 2
Directions

MAKING
1) Drain fruits, saving syrup.
2) Into a small saucepan, measure 2 cups of syrup and allow it to come to a boil.
3) Mix in lemon juice, rind and cinnamon and simmer the mixture for 5 minutes.
4) Take off cinnamon sticks.
5) In an attractive serving dish, arrange the fruits and top with hot syrup.

SERVING
6) Serve the fruit compote warm or chilled.
