Three Fruits Compote

Ingredients
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Purple plums 8
  Ripe peaches 2
  Ripe pears 2
Directions

MAKING
1. In a medium size saucepan, heat water, sugar and plums. Allow them to simmer for 5 minutes.or just until skin bursts.
2. In the meanwhile, peel, halve and pit the peaches. Pare, quarter and core the pears.Keep aside
3. Take a pretty serving bowl, arrange all the fruits and pour hot plums and syrup over
SERVING
4. Serve with a scoop of hot vanilla
