Warm Apple Compote With Frozen Yogurt
|Packed brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Crisp apples||4 , cored, and cut into 3/8"-thick slices (Such As Fuji / Braeburn / Gala)|
|Low fat frozen vanilla yogurt/Soy alternative||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped toasted pecans||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the brown sugar and nutmeg and stir until smooth.
Add the apples, cover, and cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 minutes, or until the apples are tender.
Spoon the apples into dessert bowls.
Top with the frozen yogurt and pecans.
