Hot Apple Compote

Ingredients
  Golden delicious apples 2 Small
  Unsweetened apple juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cinnamon stick 1
  Orange slices 2 , unpeeled
Directions

Peel the apples and cut into quarters.
Combine the apple juice, water, and cinnamon stick and simmer for about 2 minutes.
Pour the hot juice over the apples; add the orange slices.
Bake at 300° covered, for 10-20 minutes or until the apples can be pierced easily with a fork.
