|Apples||5 , peeled and cut into 1/2 inch wide wedges|
|Granulated sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon||1 , juiced and grated rind|
|Apple jelly||2 Tablespoon|
1. In a large skillet, combine apple wedges, sugar, lemon juice and rind. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes, until fruit is tender.
2. Stir in jelly and sherry. Bring mixture to a boil. Continue cooking about 5 minutes, until thick.
