Fruit And Wine Compote
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Dry red wine||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Fresh peaches||3 , peeled and cut into quarters|
|Red plums||4 Large, cut into quarters|
Heat all ingredients in large saucepan to boiling, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer until fruit is tender, about 5 minutes.
