Colorful Fruit Compote
|Whole cranberry sauce||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Canned mandarin orange sections||11 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Fresh pear||6 , pared, cored and quartered|
Combine cranberry sauce, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and ginger in medium saucepan; bring to a boil.
Combine orange sections and pears in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Pour cranberry mixture over fruit.
Cover and bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until pears are tender.
Spoon fruit mixture into sherbet dishes or compotes.
