Fruit Compote Supreme
|Canned peach slices||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Dried apricots||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Orange peel||1 Teaspoon, grated|
|Orange juice||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Lemon peel||1⁄2 Teaspoon, grated|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Pitted dark sweet cherries||16 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
Preheat oven to 350°.
In 10x6x2-inch baking dish combine undrained peach slices, dried apricots, brown sugar, grated orange peel, orange juice, grated lemon peel, and lemon juice.
Cover and bake compote at 350° for 45 minutes.
Gently stir in the dark sweet cherries.
Bake, covered, till cherries are heated through, about 15 minutes longer.
