Hot Oatmeal With Prune And Apricot Compote And Yogurt

Ingredients
  Prunes 4
  Dried apricots 4
  Water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Rolled oats 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Water 1 Quart
  Skim milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Plain low-fat yogurt 1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)
Directions

TO PREPARE THE COMPOTE: Put the prunes, apricots, and water in a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and stew gently for 15 to 20 minutes.
TO PREPARE OATMEAL: Put the oatmeal and water in another saucepan, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to medium-low, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly so that the oatmeal does not stick to the bottom of the pot.
Divide the oatmeal among 4 soup bowls and spoon an apricot and a prune with some of their juice over each portion.
Pour 1/4 cup of milk over each serving, and top with 1/3 cup of yogurt.
