|Granulated sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Pears||4 , halved and cored|
|Purple plums||8 , halved and pitted|
|Peaches||4 , halved and pitted|
|Apricots||4 , halved and pitted|
Combine the lemon slices, water, and granulated sugar replacement in a saucepan.
Bring to the boiling point and fold in the fruits.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until tender.
Pour into a serving dish and refrigerate.
Compote will keep for several days.
