Fruit Compote Exotica
|Ginger root slices||3 , peeled|
|Unsweetened flaked coconut||3 (For Sprinkling)|
As you prepare ingredients, combine them in a large bowl.
Peel and slice kiwis into half rounds.
Quarter pomegranates and scoop out fruit with a grapefruit spoon; don't include any pith.
Peel, seed, and cut papaya into bite-size chunks.
Peel, pit, and cut mango into bite-size chunks.
Peel, core, and slice pears.
Squeeze juice from orange and limes, and stir into fruit.
Squeeze ginger to release flavor; stir into compote.
Chill to blend flavors.
