Almond Coffee Cream
|Homogenized milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Strong coffee||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Such As Jamaican Or Viennese)|
|Granulated sugar||3 Teaspoon|
|Almond flavoring/1 to 2 tablespoon almond liqueur||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Whipping cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sliced almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), toasted|
Heat milk in small saucepan just until bubbles form around the edges.
Stir in strong coffee and 1 teaspoon sugar; cook until piping hot, stirring occasionally.
Taste; add more sugar, if you wish.
Remove from the heat and stir in almond flavouring or liqueur.
Pour into mugs.
Whip cream in a small bowl and top each mug with a generous dollop.
Sprinkle with toasted almond slices and serve.
