Coffee Made in a Percolator
|Cold water/Fresh||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Coffee||1 Cup (16 tbs), grind|
Fill bottom section of an 8-cup percolator with water.
Measure the coffee into basket, placed on stem.
Insert stem in pot.
Over medium heat, percolate coffee 10 minutes, timing from point when liquid first shows color.
Immediately remove basket with coffee grounds; replace cover.
If coffee is not served at once, keep hot over very low heat; do not let it boil.
Makes 8 servings.
