1. Combine coffee, cinnamon and cloves in a 1-quart measure. Add boiling water; stir until coffee mixture is dissolved.
2. Add 3 cups cold water; refrigerate the coffee, covered, until ready to serve.
3. To serve: Fill 6 tall glasses with ice cubes. Place a lemon twist in each; fill with chilled coffee. Serve with sugar and cream, if desired.
