|Water||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Instant coffee||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), dried|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground cloves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Heat all ingredients except vanilla to boiling; reduce heat.
Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
Stir in vanilla.
Brandied Spiced Coffee: Stir in 1/4 cup brandy with the vanilla.
Top each serving with sweetened whipped cream.
Sprinkle with ground cinnamon if desired.
