Black Cod Muscadet
|Black cod/2 cod steaks||8 Ounce|
|Yellow onion||1 Medium, thinly sliced|
|Chopped thyme/1/2 teaspoon dried||1 Teaspoon|
|Muscadet||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grapes||4 Ounce, halved|
|Ground white pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Rinse cod, pat dry.
In a heavy frying pan, melt butter over low heat.
Add whole onion slices with thyme and cook slowly, until onions are soft.
Turn them with a spatula, cook for 3 minutes.
Increase heat to medium, add wine, and cook for 5 minutes.
Slide in cod, cook for 3 minutes (fillets) or 4 to 6 minutes (steaks), turn.
Add grapes and pepper, simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.
