This homemade coconut milk recipe is prepared with grated coconut and milk. Cooked and reserved, coconut milk is a flavorful liquid that is used as a vital ingredient in many South Asian dishes.
Ingredients
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Coconut 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), grated
Directions

Combine milk and coconut in small saucepan; bring to boil over medium heat.
Boil 2 minutes; strain.
Use milk as instructed.
Reserve coconut for toasting.
