Yam N Coconut Casserole

Ingredients
  Yams 4 1⁄2 Pound, cooked and peeled (12 Medium Sized)
  Brown sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Cream 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Flaked coconut 7 Ounce (1 Package)
  Diced tart apples 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), melted
Directions

Cut yams into pieces; put into a large bowl.
With an electric mixer, beat in brown sugar, cream, and half of coconut.
Beat until smooth.
Stir in diced apples.
Turn mixture into a buttered 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
Toss remaining coconut with melted butter.
Sprinkle evenly over top of yam mixture.
Bake at 325°F about 30 minutes, or until coconut is lightly browned.
