Coconut Oat Drops
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shortening||1 Teaspoon, melted|
|Rolled oats||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Coconut||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Beat egg, add sugar gradually, then melted shortening and vanilla.
Combine with remaining ingredients.
Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.
Bake in a moderate oven (375Â°F.) 10 to 12 minutes.
