Food never got this fresh, exciting and delicious as coconut crusted apple dessert. Coconut crusted apple dessert is my all-time family favorite and is specially made to taste great! Devour in the goodness.
  Tart apples 6 Large (Filling)
  Brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Filling)
  Orange juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Filling)
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Filling)
  Mace 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Filling)
  Flour 2 Tablespoon (Filling)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Topping)
  Flaked coconut/Desiccated coconut 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Topping)

Pare, core and slice apples.
Heap 2" deep in a greased 8" round baking dish.
Combine V2 cup brown sugar, spices and 2 tblspns, flour; sprinkle over apples.
Pour orange juice over all.
For the topping, blend V2 cup brown sugar, butter and 1/3-cup flour with a fork until crumbly.
Stir in coconut.
Spread over apples.
Cover with aluminium foil.
Bake in a hot oven - 425° F - for 2 minutes.
Remove foil; bake for 15 minutes longer, or until apples are tender.
