|Cocoa||6 Tablespoon, sieved|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Mix cocoa, sugar, and salt in a heavy saucepan.
Blend in the water.
Boil gently 2 minutes over direct heat, stirring until slightly thickened.
Stir in the milk, heating slowly until scalding hot.
Remove from heat.
Cover and keep hot, if necessary, over hot water.
