Cocoa Or Chocolate Syrup

Ingredients
  Cocoa/2 squares chocolate 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cold water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sugar/0.5 cup sugar and 0.5 cup light corn syrup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Cook the, cocoa or chocolate (broken into small pieces) and the water until smooth and thick.
Add sugar and salt and cook a few minutes longer.
Add vanilla.
The sauce may be kept in jars and used for pudding or ice cream sauce or for the basis of hot or iced drinks.
Use 2 tablespoons of syrup to each cup of milk.
