Simple Hot Cocoa

  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cocoa 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Milk 3 Quart

In large kettle or Dutch oven, mix sugar, cocoa and salt.
Add water.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil and stir 2 minutes.
Stir in milk; heat through but do not boil.
If desired, add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
Just before serving, beat with rotary beater until foamy or stir until smooth.
