Cinnamon Cream Hot Cocoa
|Skim milk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Cinnamon stick||2 (3 Inch Sticks)|
|Unsweetened cocoa||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Marshmallow cream||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Almond extract||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Place milk and 2 cinnamon sticks in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat, and let cool 10 minutes.
Remove and discard cinnamon sticks.
Combine cocoa and sugar; stir well.
Add to milk mixture, and stir well.
Stir in marshmallow cream.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk, until thoroughly heated.
Remove from heat; stir in flavorings.
Pour into individual mugs.
Garnish with cinnamon sticks, if desired.
