Hot Cocoa

Growing up in Jersey, I always looked forward to the first big snow fall of the year. There was nothing better than being stuck in the house and having no other choice than to relax and spend some "quality time" with the family. But I must say, once the snow fall was over I was always eager to jump outside and help my Dad do the shoveling. It wasn't so much the shoveling that excited me, but the idea of how much better that hot cocoa would taste after all that hard work! This recipe is my favorite, it's so much better than the packaged stuff and just as easy...so go ahead and give it a try and don't forget to let me know what ya think!!
Ingredients
  Cocoa powder 5 Tablespoon
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Hot water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Vanilla soy milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Marshmallows 2 Large
  Cinnamon sticks 2
Directions

1. Combine cocoa, sugar, salt and vanilla in a small saucepan. Add hot water and whisk until paste has formed.
2. Turn heat on medium low, and whisk in milk. Heat to just below a boil.
3. Serve in your favorite mug with marshmallow and cinnamon stick!
