Camper's Hot Cocoa
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Unsweetened cocoa powder||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Nonfat dry milk powder||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Water||8 Cup (128 tbs)|
In saucepan combine chocolate pieces, flour, and dash salt.
Blend milk with honey.
Gradually stir into chocolate mixture.
Cook and stir over medium heat till chocolate melts and mixture thickens and bubbles.
In bowl beat the eggs.
Add a moderate amount of hot chocolate mixture to eggs; mix well.
Return slowly to hot mixture.
Cook and stir 1 minute more.
Stir in cream and vanilla.
Freeze in 2 quart ice cream freezer.
Garnish with semisweet chocolate pieces, if desired
