Squid In Gin And Ginger
|Squid tubes||8 Ounce|
|Ginger root||1 Inch, peeled and grated or minced|
|Sesame oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Snow peas||12 , trimmed|
|Green onions||3 , sliced into large diagonals|
Rinse squid tubes well, inside and out; pat dry.
Cut in 1/4 inch rings and marinate in gin.
Add ginger to gin.
In a heavy frying pan or wok, heat oil over medium high heat.
Toss in snow peas and onions and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
Drain marinade off squid; reserve.
Add squid rings and ginger to vegetables.
Cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add 1 to 2 table spoons gin and shoyu; cook for 1 minute.
