Coffee And Rum Sauce

The coffee and rum sauce is a dessert sauce prepared with dark rum and balck coffee. Rich and heavy bodied, the coffee and rum sauce is cooked with eggs and cream along with cornflour and milk. Sweetened with sugar, the rum and coffee sauce can be served over fruit desserts or cakes.
Ingredients
  Strong, hot black coffee 125 Milliliter
  Sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Egg yolks 2
  Thick cream 75 Milliliter
  Cornflour 1 Teaspoon
  Milk 1 Tablespoon
  Dark rum 2 Tablespoon
Directions

1.
Place coffee, sugar, egg yolks and cream in a jug.
Mix cornflour and milk to a smooth paste and add to coffee mixture.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on HIGH, stirring every 30 seconds.
3.
Add rum and cook for a further 1 minute on HIGH.
4.
Serve hot over fruit.
