Fruit Cocktail Fritters

Ingredients
  Sifted flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Fruit cocktail 1 Cup (16 tbs), well drained
  Fat 2 Cup (32 tbs) (for deep frying)
Directions

Heat fat to 375°.
Sift dry ingredients.
Put milk and eggs into Osterizer container, cover and process at STIR until well mixed.
Stop Osterizer and add the flour mixture.
Cover and process at BLEND until dry ingredients are moistened.
Stir in the well drained fruit.
Drop batter from tablespoon into hot fat and fry until golden brown on all sides.
Drain.
Serve while hot as a hot bread, with butter or syrup.
