Savory Cocktail Crackers
|Cheddar cheese cubes||1 1⁄2|
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Salted peanuts||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Grate the cheese .
Cut the butter into small pieces.
Add the flour, salt, pepper, mustard, egg yolk and 3 tablespoons water and mix to a firm dough .
If the dough looks dry, add the remaining water and mix again.
Place the dough on a floured surface and sprinkle with the cheese.
Fold over the dough to enclose the cheese and roll thinly.
Cut into small shapes with different cutters.
Put the shapes on a greased baking sheet, and prick them lightly with a fork.
Chop the peanuts finely and sprinkle on the crackers.
Bake at 350Â°F for 15 minutes until golden.
Cool on a wire rack and store in an airtight container.
