SPARKLING MOJITO

A healthy splash of your favorite beer gives this cocktail a refreshing twist.
Ingredients
  Vodka/White rum 4 Ounce
  Fresh mint sprigs 2 (1 Extra Sprig For Garnish)
  Fresh mint sprig 2 (1 Sprig Extra For Garnish)
  Basil leaves 2 (Couple Of)
  Lime 1⁄2 , cut into wedges (Additional For Garnish And Rimming The Glass)
  Lime 1 (Additional For Garnish And Rimming The Glass)
  Simple syrup 1 Tablespoon (Equal Parts Water And Sugar Heated Until The Sugar Dissolves)
  Beer 1 Tablespoon (Lighter Beer Works Better)
  Coarse sugar To Taste (Such As Raw Sugar)
Directions

In a cocktail shaker, mull (smash) the mint, basil and lime. Pour in the simple syrup and vodka, then fill the rest with ice and shake well. Grab a cocktail glass, rim it with lime juice, then dip into sugar coating the rim. Fill it with ice, then then a splash of beer and then fill it with your mulled cocktail. Garnish with a wedge of lime and small sprig of mint. Umbrella optional!
