Cocktail Fish Balls

|Codfish cakes||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Fat||2 Cup (32 tbs) (for deep frying)|
|Egg||1 , well beaten|
|Butter||1 Tablespoon, melted|
|Dry bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Place codfish cakes in a bowl.
Add eggs, butter and pepper.
Form into little balls.
Roll in fine crumbs and fry in hot deep fat (385°F.) until brown.
Drain on paper towels and serve with picks.
