Cocktail Prunes

Ingredients
  Pitted prunes 1 Pound
  Pecans/Water chestnuts 1⁄4 Pound
  Bacon 1⁄2 Pound
Directions

MAKING
1) In a saucepan cook prunes till tender.
2) Remove and drain thoroughly on paper towels.
3) Slit lengthwise. Fill with 1/2 pecan or a wedge of water chestnut.
4) Wrap the prunes with a strip of bacon.
5) Secure tightly with a toothpick.
6) In a skillet brown the prunes.
7) Drain and refrigerate.
8) Heat under broiler.

SERVING
9) Serve hot.
