Measure the vodka and grapefruit juice into a jug and stir well.
Lightly whisk a little egg white and pour on to a plate.
Pour some salt on another plate.
Dip the rim of the glass first in the egg white, then in the salt.
Half-fill the glass with ice and pour over the cocktail.
