Citrus Gin Jingle
|London dry gin||9 Ounce (9 Parts)|
|Orange bitters||3 Dash (For Every Teaspoon Of Lemon Syrup)|
|For lemon syrup|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1 Part)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (1 Part)|
|Lemon zest||1⁄2 Tablespoon (1/2 Part)|
Pour the lemon syrup and bitters into an Old Fashioned glass and stir with a bar spoon. Add ice, pour in gin, and then stir. Optional: Garnish with a lemon wedge
Directions for Lemon Syrup
Bring water, sugar, and zest to a boil. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool. Strain out the solids and then refrigerate.
